Position Description
Position Overview:
The Vendor Services Coordinator is responsible for the entry, maintenance, and reporting of client information across a broad spectrum of systems. This position works closely with several departments to ensure client information is correct, updates are made in a timely manner and with the required documentation/approval, and payments are made on time to the correct party. The position will use professional written and verbal communication skills, a firm understanding of relevant banking industry standards, company policies/procedures, and strong reasoning skills to resolve issues pertaining to vendor information and payments in a cross cultural context.
Responsibilities:
-Complete, in the established time frame and in accordance with internal and external controls, all requests from internal and external customers for account additions and updates related to payment of AP and collection of AR
-Assist with research regarding payment anomalies
-Communicate with internal partners on customer account status
-Other tasks as required
Qualifications and
Experience:
-High School Diploma, College Degree strongly preferred
-Data maintenance experience preferred
-2
years data entry experience
-Knowledge of domestic and international payment requirements
-Experience with processing international low and high value ACH, cross-border wire, and domestic ACH payments preferred
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in a cross-cultural context
-Detail oriented - high level of accuracy required
-Strong organization skills - ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment a must
-Comfortable with making decisions based on limited information and personal judgment, with or without direct guidance, but in accordance with internal and external policies, procedures, and controls
-Ability to work over-time as required, sometimes with little advance notice
-Proficiency in PC software including, but not limited to, all MS Office applications - must be able to create and edit content in all products at a level sufficient for presentation to upper management
-Experience with PeopleSoft highly preferred
-Experience with Oracle strongly preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
