Expedia is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle Software Developer/Lead for our global r12 Oracle Financials . This position will play a critical role in designing and developing solutions in support of a new Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation.
Essential Duties:
oPlay a senior role in the design, analysis, and development efforts for the Oracle EBS implementation with a focus on solutions for Order to Cash business processes.
oClose collaboration with business and other team members (Developers, Program Managers, Testers and Production Support Analysts to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies
oCollaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable integration solutions.
oEstimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements.
oEnhance, support and follow Expedia Software Development Lifecycle
oMentor development and support teams by guiding development and architecture standards and train existing staff transitioning to Oracle technologies
oProvide guidance and ensure offshore development delivery and quality while completing development onsite for appropriate tasks.
oAct as Subject Matter Expert on Oracle EBS and related technologies
oSet clear goals and lead collaborative achievements
oManage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
Qualifications:
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience.
o7 year plus experience in Oracle tools like PL/SQL, Form, Report, SQL Plus, SQL loader.
oStrong working knowledge of ERP technologies and Financials concepts, specifically highly complex global solutions
o5
year experience in Oracle Order to Cash applications
oOracle R12 experience is preferred.
oAbility to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates a courteous, tactful and professional approach with employees and others.
oStrong mentoring skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a wide variety of audiences
oDemonstrated ability to accurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals.
oAbility to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously.
oAbility to coordinate the software development lifecycle processes with cost perspective.
