Expedia is currently seeking a self-driven Oracle ERP Applications techno functional resource with an emphasis supporting and enhancing Order to Cash; superior skill/knowledge required in international and high volume payment processing business practices interacting with 3rd party banks. The successful candidate will manage diverse problems and customers with varying disciplines that are brought together to solve production issues through effective proactive issue remediation, thorough root cause analysis and focus solution /system enhancement.
Essential Duties
oConsume information rapidly to diagnose an action plan of 1-3 hours or 1-3 weeks depending on scope of resolution effort.
oWhen issues are identified as problems, assist in definition/design of scalable, flexible and efficient solutions.
oAct as a customer and group wide advocate for quality architecture design, coding and best practices
oEnhance, support and improve our ability to work within the Expedia centric Software Development Lifecycle
oEffectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation and issue resolution
oCollaborate with customers, developer, program managers and testing teams to implement innovative technical solutions
oPresents technical issues and their impact to customers/management with recommendations for permanent solution
oCollaborate with non ERP teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable cross platform solutions
oEstimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements
oManage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
Work Experience and Education Guidelines
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience
o5
years' experience implementing/support Oracle ERP Applications 12x
oStrong working knowledge of ERP technologies and Financials concepts, specifically highly complex global solutions
oOracle R12 experience is
required
oCPA /CA
preferred

oSolid ITIL or similar methodology experience
oDemonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
oAbility to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company
oAccurately establish the length and difficulty of tasks and projects, set reasonable objectives and goals, anticipate and adjust for problems/roadblocks and measure results against goals
oAbility to orchestrate multiple activities simultaneously
