Technology Lead - Enterprise Applications Ops
Expedia is currently seeking a seasoned Operations Lead/Manager to lead a local team of resources supporting Enterprise Applications focused in the area of production support issue management/resolution, operational improvement and standardization. The candidate will manage diverse team members with varying disciplines in our Springfield MO office in addition to interacting with US/EU/India team members.
Essential Duties:
oConsume information rapidly to diagnose an action plan of 1-3 weeks to solve critical production issues.
oSupport and assist in definition/design of scalable, flexible and efficient operations solutions to be implemented in rapid timeframes.
oAct as a group wide advocate for quality architecture design, coding and best practices
oEnhance, support and improve Expedia Enterprise Applications Software Development Lifecycle
oEffectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation
oCollaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, Production Support Engineers and business customers to implement innovative technical solutions using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methods
oPresents technical issues and their impact to management with recommendations for permanent solution
oCollaborate with non ERP development teams to design efficient, supportable and scalable solutions
oEstimate required work efforts to complete assigned projects/enhancements
oManage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
oWork Experience and Education Guidelines
oBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent experience
o7
years experience implementing/support Oracle ERP Applications 12x
oStrong working knowledge of Oracle ERP Applications technologies and Financials concepts, specifically large global solutions
oOracle R12 experience is required
oCPA/CA preferred

oOracle R12 core financials experience
oITIL, PMI or other similar methodology experience
oDemonstrated ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time-zones
oAbility to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the Company
