Job Description
Jack Henry & Associates has an opening for a Technical Applications Analyst within the Core Director Implementations department in Springfield, MO.
Primary responsibilities include installing, configuring, and testing major software releases for our Inhouse and Outsourced Core Director financial institutions. Responsibilities will also include the installation, configuration, and testing of interfaces between Core Director and other Jack Henryor 3rdParty products.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Computer troubleshooting skills.
Windows IIS and MS Windows Server 2012 knowledge.
Minimum18 months yearsof technical operations experience.
Able to travel up to 20% at times.
PREFERRED
Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Financial or banking background is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides remote or on-site software installation and upgrade services. Ensures software applications are installed and fully functional.
Researches and analyzes customer problems/issues to increase personal knowledge and familiarity with the installed product and to provide the highest level of support possible.
Provides appropriate personnel a precise understanding of issue encountered when the problem needs to be escalated to a higher level.
Interacts with implementation, development, or customer service teams on various issues to ensure a successful resolution.
Communicates the customer's needs/expectations to appropriate personnel.
Consults with customers to define parameters within the software application.
Trains the customer on use and feature functionality of the application or interface.
